Which braces suit you?
For growing children, removable appliances such as active plates or the bionator are a good fit. They use natural development to widen the jaw, improve the bite and make room for the permanent teeth.
If teeth need to move precisely and around the clock, fixed braces are the right choice – with metal, tooth-coloured ceramic or inside brackets. Clear aligners are the almost invisible, removable alternative.
With the lingual technique using the Incognito system, every bracket is made for the inside of your teeth – invisible from the outside, even for demanding corrections.

Frequently asked questions
At what age should my child have a check-up?
A first orthodontic check-up usually makes sense at around 7–9 years. This way we spot misalignments early and can use growth.
Am I too old as an adult?
No. As long as your gums and jawbone are healthy, we can move teeth at any age.
Will people see my braces?
Not necessarily: aligners are barely visible, and with the lingual technique the brackets sit on the inside of the teeth.
What do you treat?
Among other things crowding and gaps, deep bite and crossbite, jaws that are too narrow and missing teeth.
Does the IV (Swiss disability insurance) pay?
For certain clearly defined congenital conditions, yes. Whether the criteria are met is shown by an orthodontic assessment, which we carry out at our practice.
