Time for your questions
We take time to answer your questions and explain clearly which options are available in your situation.
What happens
Afterwards, you receive a transparent treatment and cost plan. You can then decide in your own time whether and when to begin treatment.
- A conversation about your wishes, concerns and medical history
- Examination of the teeth, jaws, bite and jaw joints
- Photos, a digital scan or X-rays if required
- Discussion of the findings and possible treatment options
The right time
For children, a first orthodontic check-up is usually advisable at around 7–9 years of age. This allows us to detect misalignments early and make targeted use of natural growth. For adults there is no age limit: teeth can be moved at any age, provided the gums and jawbone are healthy.
If a congenital condition is suspected in your child, we carry out the orthodontic assessment required by the Swiss Disability Insurance (IV).
